This handsome little guy was a DREAM for his Los Angeles newborn photography session! His perfect little face, skin tone and can we talk about his hair?! It had highlights!! GAH! Loved, loved capturing these first newborn moments for his adoring parents. This was our first time photographing a newborn with a Pavlik harness; a soft harness used to help with Infant Hip Dysplasia that is worn pretty much full time. At first Matt and I weren’t sure how we were going to work around it, but we did indeed find a way! Over the many, many years that we have been capturing these sweet newborns, I have been able to really fine tune my baby wrapping skills. 🙂 Tight and smooth is my style (I can’t stand seeing sloppy wraps in newborn portraits!). It totally paid off too with this little guy’s session. Take a look at his images below- you would never know he’s got a full harness underneath his wraps. It just goes to show that we can work around almost anything to still capture those beautiful newborn shots our clients love. And it makes a huge difference when you work with a professional newborn photographer.
