We were recently approached by one of the editor’s at Voyage LA magazine. They featured us in their “Inspiring Stories” series! Their goal was to feature interviews with the most inspiring professionals, entrepreneurs and independent businesses in Southern California. How cool is that?! We shared with them our journey. From leaving our “regular” jobs to building a Los Angeles newborn and baby photography business of our own! After years of hard work, we are proud to say we’ve built a very successful photography business.(Best Newborn Photographer Pasadena).

This is a topic that we love sharing with others actually. After our newborn photography sessions, you will often find us just hanging out and chatting with new parents. Most of the time, we end up talking about how our business got started. Parents usually want to know how we even got into the category of professional newborn photography. We’ve loved sharing with them the steps we took and all the hard work and passion that goes it our art. There are definitely quite a few couples that we’ve inspired to go after their dreams, as well!

In the article, there is a section that talks about how we think it’s pretty cool that we are a husband and wife team. I love that they included this! Los Angeles newborn and baby photography is almost a completely female dominated field. With Matt as the photographer and me (Jess) as the baby soother and poser, we think we bring something very different to newborn photography. We also feel that we make a pretty great team! On top of this, as parents ourselves, we find it easy to relate to both new moms and dads. We could talk for days about our love for our job, but head over to the article instead!
