We couldn't be happier to have met and worked with Matt Cramer Photography. Matt and Jess made capturing this precious newborn phase with our firstborn child such a joy! From our arrival at their welcoming home studio to receiving our final product, Matt and Jess took excellent care of us and our babygirl. They have a genuine passion for their work and we were grateful for every considerate measure they take to keep their studio spotless and sanitized with a spa-like atmosphere for us to relax in as they seamlessly shot several looks of our gorgeous girl. We adored their perfect curation of wardrobe, props and accessories and loved that they included us in some behind the scenes magic, but took care of our girl as if she was their own throughout the whole entire shoot! We couldn't have asked for a better experience working with Jess and Matt Cramer from start to finish. From flawless photos and continued communication throughout the process (even prior to baby's arrival), to the week of our shoot, they both made us feel at ease about what to expect and what the final product would be like. On the day of the shoot, only 2 weeks postpartum I couldn't have been more relaxed as Jess is TRULY a baby whisperer and fully took care of our newborn with such calm (with new parent jitters assuaged such that we didn't have to worry at all and I felt 100% confident with our baby in their care), welcoming us into their studio and home, while Matt's shots were incredible and fully captured our little doll. Final images were absolutely incredible (as expected), and naturally can't wait to work with them again in the future! Highly recommend this fantastic husband and wife team!

Matt & Jess were such a pleasure to meet and work with! Jess was so sweet and helpful from the very beginning; she responded quickly to my emails and answered all of my questions. She made the process of setting up my son's photo shoot so effortless and enjoyable. We told them what color scheme we liked best and let them run with it. Matt captured the most amazing pictures of my 2 week old son. There were so many great photos that he made it almost impossible for us to narrow down our choices. And Jess really does own the title of "baby whisperer". She was amazing with our son and we felt at ease the second we walked into their home studio. My husband was able to nap while I caught up on emails during the session. I'm so glad that we found this great photography team and that they were able to capture some amazing, once in a lifetime, memories of our 2 week old son. We will definitely be back to get more memories captured of him and hopefully his future siblings as well.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Matt and Jess! What a PHENOMENAL team! Matt and Jess made each photo session with our daughter memorable. We had the opportunity to have Matt and Jess capture our daughter's newborn pictures in April 2022. Our April baby was supposed to be a May baby...but she had other plans. Without a flinch, Jess leaped into action and help to set the new date and time for her pictures. Just as previous people have indicated- Jess communicates with you every step of the way- she responds quickly and helps you feel prepared for the day of. She sent us a detailed email of what was needed and how to prepare. As any newborn parent will tell you- having someone think of the details and plan for you is a godsend. They have the warmest and most loving environment. Jess is truly a baby whisperer and Matt's camera work is magical. As a mom- I took notes on how they had everything for our baby. She was so relaxed and happy! They were so patient and meticulous with each snap of the camera. Every picture we received was absolute perfection. Not only did we get pictures of our baby girl, but some wonderful family pictures. Not to be egotistical- but as someone who went through labor and navigating all the new newborn things- they helped me look like a functioning human and I'm forever indebted to them for that! We were over the moon with how professional, caring, and thoughtful they were that we knew we had to come back for her 1 year cake smash picture...and I am so happy we did! Just as we experienced a year before- they had everything ready for our baby! Jess had the best outfits and we were able to pick up from where we left off. As expected- each picture was perfection! As any mother would, I show off my baby's pictures when any opportunity arises and let me tell you- every single person I show our newborn and 1 year pictures to always ask who took these gorgeous pictures! They truly are breathtaking. If you are looking for a wonderful newborn/cake smash photographer- look no further! They are marvelous! I'm so happy we picked Matt and Jess. They created core-memories for our family.

Matt and Jess are such life savers! We had booked a newborn photographer weeks before our son was born but one day before we were supposed to have it, she cancelled on us. I scrambled to find another photographer and stumbled upon Matt Cramer Photography and decided to call them. Luckily they were able to squeeze us in last second and it was the best decision we ever made! There was great communication leading up to the photo session and we were able to choose specific themes and different setups. Matt and Jess are such a great and talented team. They made us feel extremely welcome when we arrived to their beautiful home studio. We were able to just relax while they worked their magic. Jess is truly a baby whisperer and took such great care of our son while Matt took amazing photos of him. We opted to do a sibling session with our older son and Jess was so amazing when it came to instructing him where to sit and how to pose. There were so many great photos to choose from so it was difficult to narrow down what we wanted. The finished photos are such high quality, we were so impressed at how beautiful they came out. I regret not hiring Matt and Jess to do our first son's newborn photo session! We compared the quality of the two sessions and could easily tell how much better Matt Cramer photography was. We highly highly recommend Matt and Jess to do your newborn baby photos! It's definitely worth every penny of your investment.

The service provided by Matt and Jess exceeds these 5 stars! I am a first time mom and gave birth this past Sept. and honestly never thought to get newborn photos, however once my daughter was born, I realized that I truly wanted to capture how precious she was during the newborn period. About a week later, I knew I would be calling places last minute but thought I would give it a try and so glad I ended up calling Matt and Jess! By chance they had availability for a next day shoot and told me that it was rare case since they are usually fully booked and require booking months in advance. Once I stepped into their studio, I knew I was in the right place as they were so welcoming and the environment was so serene and relaxing! During the process, we were able to relax (much needed as new parents) as Jess cared for our little one, she truly is a baby whisperer and Matt worked his photography magic!
I just received our finished photo gallery and I am overjoyed and impressed with the images captured, the details and skills put into the album show the quality and it overall feels like we have pieces of artwork for our family to cherish. I highly recommend working with Matt and Jess to capture precious moments of your little ones, we definitely will be returning to capture more memories for our family.

Jess is a baby whisperer!
I highly recommend Matt Cramer Photography! Matt and Jess are an incredible team and have a very artistic style. Looking at their portfolio, I knew their photos were amazing, but I was truly blown away by the final images of my son. I made the mistake of not booking newborn photos ahead of time, but luckily they were able to get me in a last minute opening. Even though my son was almost 4 weeks old, they were still able to capture the newborn phase. I'm so thankful I didn't miss out! I was able to tell them which poses, props, and colors I liked. They photographed several different setups so I ended up with a wide variety of photos. Matt is super talented and I loved every single photo. It was so hard to narrow down my favorites. The retouched photos look absolutely perfect. Jess is a baby whisperer! I was so impressed with how the swaddling and poses look so artistic. Whenever my son started to wake up, she was able to soothe him back to sleep. When he was awake, Matt captured some amazing expressions! Besides doing incredible work, they are really great people. Their home studio is so welcoming and beautiful. They also offer heirloom photo albums that are really high quality and stunning. Every page is like a work of art. If you want the best of the best, I highly recommend Matt and Jess!

We are beyond thrilled with the experience we had with Matt and Jess Cramer shooting our newborn photos! Not only did the photos turn out beautiful, they are the kindest, most welcoming, and lovely people to work with. They were super quick to respond to any questions I had, were very thorough and detailed, and they are genuine to their core. We felt like we had known them forever when we met - they're that wonderful! They were also really accommodating given that our little guy was born a week late! Not to my surprise, they were so great with our little guy during the session! He pretty much slept through the whole thing thanks to the warm and cozy environment they created and their gentle handling. They gave us so many wonderful options for props and set-up and captured beautiful photos we will cherish forever. We will for sure be back if there's a baby #2 in our future!

Matt and Jess are simply the best, no question. We love our newborn photoshoot and are so happy with our decision to go with their studio. They were extremely careful, and followed all the COVID protocols. Their studio space is beautiful and they took care of our baby so well. Jess is absolutely a baby whisperer. Our little one didn't cry at all and loved his swaddle time. Before our session they asked about our color and theme choices, so when we showed up on the day, they had laid out all the props for our approval based upon our selection. It was perfect.
They are such kind and amazing people and we would highly recommend them for newborn photoshoots. If you're reading this review and are considering booking them, do it! You won't have any regrets. We are in love with every single picture they took and are in awe of their incredible talent.

a lovely experience
As first-time parents who have been super cautious throughout the entire pandemic, my husband and I weren't sure if we should skip the newborn photo shoot or try and find someone to capture our son's first few weeks. I'm so glad we opted to do the images and I'm thrilled we found Jessica and Matt. Every step of the process was diligently organized and the end result is far more beautiful than we could have imagined. Before we even arrived Jess sent the most thorough instructions via email on how best to prepare. Upon entering their cozy house, Matt and Jess welcomed us with such warmth and followed every precaution to ensure the environment was as safe as possible for everyone (temperature checks, sanitizer etc). The thought of handing our precious bundle over to someone we'd never met, was a little anxiety-inducing but Jess truly is the baby-whisperer and her and Matt are a dream team. Jess was so gentle and calm with our baby boy and though he is a little tubbier than most newborns she expertly handled him for hours (even calming him when he got a little fussy). My husband and I were able to relax knowing our son was well taken care of and throughout the shoot, it was fantastic just chatting to Matt and Jess, who are super friendly. Between Jess and her expert eye and swaddling finesse and Matt's ability to capture the most beautiful details, we were so pleased with how everything turned out. The final images were fantastic and Matt provided clear and prompt messaging for the final stages. If anyone is wavering, my advice would be to take the leap and work with the Cramers; we did and we ended up having a lovely experience and now have the most memorable images of our sweet boy.
